Accommodation
Someone once said to us that a holiday home must be every bit as comfortable and luxurious as your own home, so we took them at their word.
With four bedrooms (3xdouble and one twin), and two living rooms there’s space enough for everyone; families, surfers, walkers or golfers. The garden is well cared for, with sun most of the day, there’s a lower deck outside the kitchen and then an upper deck, both are great for lounging and eating outdoors. There are steps up to the top garden so very young children need watching but it is possible to secure small areas for the small ones on the lower deck. The garden is also accessed from the car park and this gate is bolt/lockable.
We would advise that you bring a baby monitor with you for monitoring children in the top floor bedrooms.
What’s already there
There are at least 5 body boards and a selection of wetsuits (junior – X large) if anyone needs to use them. We accept no responsibility for any injury through use of the cottage garden or outdoor equipment. There are DVDs/videos which you are welcome to use, plenty of books and a selection of games and puzzles, although bits do go missing during the season! Gran Belle’s has happily accommodated our parents, although the very infirm may struggle with the stairs to the first floor which are steepish, although my mother, complete with hip problems, manages quite nicely and no one has yet found them a real problem. Call us if in doubt.

Accessibility
Gran Belles has happily accommodated all ages, including aging parents, although the very infirm may struggle with the steepish stairs to the first floor which are traditional for an old fisherman’s cottage and my mother, complete with hip problems, manages quite nicely. No one has yet found them a real problem but please call us if in doubt.
Outside
The house is on Irsha Street and as the pictures show, the two step entrance is directly off the street. Traffic hasn't been an issue as it’s one way and usually only used by residents and delivery vehicles. Gardens are secluded and mature with decking & stone walls. An apple tree and pear tree provide abundant fruit in late summer. There is one shed which has a lock. You’ll find garden chairs, two tables and a Chimenea for those with caveman instincts like Trevor. Eating outside is a popular activity for us and most of the guests of Gran Belles, we have fed quite a few at our BBQs (cushions on the floor for youngsters), but there are two tables each with 4 seats and you’re welcome to use the indoor wooden seats as long as they go back in to the house.
